Been A Busy And Crazy Summer!

Even though its not a new year, I am making it a point to make a point to blog about our life! Summer has been very busy and a lot of fun! We went to the beach with my mom for a few days. Saw a few tar balls from the oil spill. Yucky. Shane and I took the kids all over the place in an action packed trip. We squeezed in everything we possibly could in 5 days and we had a blast!! After a lot of prayer we made a decision to homeschool the boys this year. I have such peace about it even though I NEVER saw myself EVER doing that. But we all know God takes you out of your comfort zone every now and then. So its kinda fun setting up our little classroom! My mom joked about the best part of this is going to be that I will be learning with the kids everything I missed in school! Funny but very true! I see the hand of God in our life and I love it and am so excited about all the things He is doing! Umm, I have lost 40 pounds. Yay me! A little more to go, but feel great! I have been a sewing machine lately! I am amazed at all my hidden talent. And Shane's too! Where has it been??!! We kinda rock if I do say so myself~!

Lovin this time of year!

Its been a few wks since I've posted! My boys are back in school and its TCAP time again. Big bummer for them I know, but oh well! My business is goin good, yay for that! Mel and I are working on a really big order so its keeping us a little busy. I have plans to start refinishing Caleb's bedroom furniture next week. Pretty excited about that because it will give him so much more drawer space (that he ReaLLy ReaLLy ReaLLy needs!) He told me he wants it all red and I said umm... NO! Not gonna happen little man! I went with Cam on a field trip Friday. Walked all over downtown and had a blasted with him and his buddies! We cooked on our new grill Saturday night and loved it! Cameron had a little friend stay the night and they wore themselves out playing the wii till 1am! To be a kid again! I have been attempting to workout and its going pretty good. Went with Christy this morning to a kickboxing class that KICKED MY BUTT! Geez, I was worn out after the warm up!! LOL! I just keep tellin myself u gotta start somewhere! Well LOST comes on tonight and I cant wait!!!!!! So, I'm gonna bounce! Ta-Ta for now!

Spring Break!!!

So far so good! We have had a fun and easy going week :-) I am finally rested up from the mini vacation and the trade show! Both were fabulous I might add. Cameron did great at competition, mom and I had a lot of fun shopping and hanging with the rug rats! I got back in town with minutes to spare before I needed to set up our booth at the trade show. We had a few offers to put our stuff in some boutiques around town, which is AMAZING!!! Truly a blessing from the Lord! Hubby is taking the next few days off of work to hang with us and enjoy this weather!

Gettin Excited!!

The trade show is just a few days away and I'm actually not stressed out about it!! Crazy I know! I have a few little things to complete and I'm done! My sweet momma and I get to take a mini vacation tomm and go to Nashville! So excited :-) I don't care who its for or what its for- Shopping makes me happy! And we get to shop!! Spending the night with the in-laws and letting them see the kiddos will be a treat. I'm so proud of Cam, he won a spot in the State Competition with a select few from his school and he preforms on Friday morning. Go Cameron!!! We will come back home just in time for me to go set up for the show. I have got to find time this weekend to clean my house! It is kinda bad I'm not gonna lie!

First time for everything!

Well well! I am so excited to finally have a blog I could almost pee in my pants!! Almost.... On the other hand, my fingers feel like they are about to fall off due to the fact Melissa and I are running a sweat shop in her basement ;-) The trade show is a week from today and we are finally seeing the light at the end of the tunnel! At least I hope that is what that light means! Its been a looong day!
